Anurag Kashyap says Shekhar Kapur’s Masoom is better than Man Woman and Child

Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to write, “Masoom may or may not have been based on the same source material , but Masoom was a way superior film to Man, Woman and Child, and neither one was a remake of the other. @shekharkapur is definitely a way superior filmmaker . His current tweets don’t change that fact.”

Shekhar Kapur has wrote, “So many people that ‘Knew’ wanted me to change the script of this film. People that were famous, experienced and ‘knowledgeable’. Told me it had no drama, no villain. I was naive unknown unskilled untrained. But rebellious. Thank God for that! (sic)”

Calling them ‘intellectuals’, emphasis included, Kapur tweeted, “Started life as refugee of Partition. Parents gave everything to make a life for kids. Was always in fear of ‘intellectuals’. They made me feel insignificant. Small. Then suddenly embraced me after my films. I still fear them. Their embrace is like a bite of snake. Still a refugee.”
