Rangasthalam Movie Review: Director Sukumar once again succeeds with a off-track story line!!!

Director: Sukumar
Cast: Ram Charan, Samantha Akkineni, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagpathi Babu, Prakash Raj
Music Director: Devi Sri Prasad
Production House: Mythri Movie Makers
Rating: 4/5
Director Sukumar has once again proved that he is capable of delivering a story based movie in spite of having a commercial hero, without giving much importance to stardom aspects. He has not even kept a hero introduction scene. That’s his strength, which most of them fail in.
It’s a village drama set in the 1980s in a fictional town of Rangasthalam. Ram Charan plays a role of Chitti Babu, a semi-deaf sound engineer in the village. One can witness his best performance of his entire carrier.  The female lead is Samanta here, who had played a role of Ramalakshmi, a very daring and lovable girl.
It’s a comic-drama genre movie. The movie takes you forward with a mixture of comic, romance and dramatic stuff throughout. This story takes you a few decades back and had succeeded in giving the audience that very feel of those days along with a bunch of comedy.
